GamerCon, Festival in Merrion Square!!

      Saturday, Me and Levi got up to go to GamerCon. We started walking down to the Dublin Convention Center around 10:30 AM after we ate breakfast. We got to the Convention Center at 11:00 AM, and we had to walk around a building to get into the huge line to get into GamerCon. The line stretched around a whole other building. They sold 24,000 Tickets for GamerCon so there were a ton of people wanting to get in.

While we were waiting in line and we got closer and closer to the front, we saw people walking away from the Convention Center telling people that they could not get in and there were to many people. More and more people were getting turned away at the door but Me and Levi decided to stay in line. We eventually got into the building around 1:00 PM. We walked around and it was awesome, there were a ton of tables that had screens and Xbox's for people to play. There were a ton of GameStop places and they had a lot of loot, and apparel. There were a lot of cool company's who were sponsoring the event like Razer and Alienware who make gaming computers. They were giving away free Red-Bull so I got one of those. We went to see where we could meet Ali-A. Ali-A is a YouTuber with over 8 Million Subscribers. We waited in a long line to meet him, but we met him, and we got a picture with him and got his signature. 

After we met Ali-A, we started to walk home because we were going out to eat at 6:30 PM. We got home and hung out until 6:15 PM. We started to walk over to a place called The Cedar Tree which had Lebanese food. We met Mily who is the mother of Levi's friends Chris and Nathan. They live close to us. I ordered a Spicy Chicken dish, and Me and Levi also shared chicken wings. They were very good, and I also ate about 3 Pita breads with hummus. 

The food was very good. The Top picture is my Spicy Chicken dish. The Chicken was in the sauce and they were delicious. After we were done eating we walked about 20 seconds over to Murphy's Ice Cream. Their Ice Cream is homemade in Dingle which is about a 4 hour drive from where we live. I got Spicy Cinnamon and Homemade Chocolate Chip ice-cream. It was delicious! 

After we all ate Ice-Cream we headed home. Once I got home I played H1Z1 on my Laptop for a while then went to bed. 

Sunday I woke up at 8:00 AM because I had set my alarm so that we could get to GamerCon earlier today. I got up and then Levi told me that he did not want to go to GamerCon today, which was fine because we were going to go to the Festival in Merrion Square. We had Scrambled Eggs for breakfast. Levi did some homework, and I cleaned the bathrooms. After all of that was done, around Noon all of us walked down to Merrion Square to see the Festival. It was more like a Carnival because they had rides also set up. 

The first ride that Me and Levi went on was a ride that swung us from side to side while spinning us. Here is what the ride looked like.

Levi was pretty scared of that ride so he did not want to do the even scarier one with me that went upsidown. We walked around and we met Levis new friend from Minnesota, Oscar, and his parents.  We found this cute little Coffee stand called "Frank and Honest" and Oscars Mom and Oma got Coffee.

After everybody had their Coffee, we went inside Merrion Square, which was the park and there was a ton of cool stuff in there also. There were cool decorations with cloths and we also found a huge robot that was made out of plastic. 

We walked around and this one place was giving away free balloons so we each got a free blue balloon.

 Right next to where we were all standing was a place that had Hamburgers and Hot-dogs and I asked if I could get a Hot-dog and I got a Hot-dog. It was a big Hot-dog.  

The place who made me that Hot-dog had a really cool grill that hung from the ceiling. 

After I finished my Hot-dog, we walked around inside Merrion Square some more. We met a Tayto mascot. Tayto is Irelands manufacturer of "Crisps" as they call it here along with popcorn. He looks like this. He is on all of the bags.

Levi went off with Oscar and his family to Oscars house to hangout. Oma, Mama and I walked around a little bit more and we saw a cool car and bull with fake grass on it. 

We found this Ice-Cream place that made the Ice-Cream right on this sheet of metal that would freeze the milk and he would chop it up and roll the Ice-Cream up for you and then serve it to you.
