Brussels, Graffiti, Beach Day!

June 17:

Today we took a train from Herne to Brussels to explore the city. Once we got there, one of the first things we saw was a really cool garden and then a graffiti wall where artists were free to do whatever art they wanted. The graffiti looked really cool.

We walked around the city and went into a few thrift stores that had clothes and an old antique shop also that had 3 floors of old antiques, furniture, jewelry and other things. Eoghan even bought a ring from the antique store we went to for 60 Euro.

We passed by a really cool looking church also.

We stopped at this one place to get some fries. I got mine with mayo and they were delicious.

We stopped again later at a cafe to take a rest and get some drinks.

We found this really cool skatepark and stopped there for a bit.

We also went to the Manneken Pis statue of a baby.

We also encountered this really cool store that had a lot of hype clothing inside like Supreme and Louis Vuitton stuff and sneakers.

Around the city they had these scooters that you could download an app for and scan the QR code and ride around in them for a cheap price. Eoghan, Liam and I used the scooters a lot and we ended up riding them to the Gucci store.

We went inside just to look but we didn't buy anything.

I made a video of what we did June 17.

June 18:

Today we decided to go to the beach. We took a couple trains to Oostende which is a city with a really nice long beach. It took about 2 hours in total to get there. Once we got there, Eoghan and I immediately got a couple segways and started to cruise around. We went really far down the beach and we went into the city also.

After we returned our segways, we went to find Dom, Kim and Carolina on the beach and went to get some fries for a snack. We hung out at the beach for the next couple of hours, and Kim, Eoghan and I eventually got into the water at one point.

Later on, Carolina wanted to try some mussels because Liam's father said to try them here because they are very tasty, so we went to a restaurant. I was not that hungry for food so I just ordered a Creme Brulee. It was very good. Eoghan, Liam and I then scooted back to the train station and we all took the train back home.

That night we had a barbecue and made burgers.

June 19:

Today Eoghan and Carolina left in the morning to go to France. The rest of us just stayed home all day, we decided to have a chill day because we were tired of doing a lot of stuff in the past few days, plus I got sunburned so I didn't want to be outside.
